There was a real sense of buzz and busy-ness about this visit. We timed it for the afternoon and were a bit taken aback by how full was the extensive car park, given that this was not in school holidays. Space was available however, and once inside the acreage is large enough to not feel overcrowded – except for the queue for the tea-shop!
Growth and development was all around us. The proportion of bare earth has plummeted and growth is seriously under way. The Kitchen Garden area is burgeoning, beds are full of colour and everything sparked under welcome spring sunshine. Work is obviously going on, as is clear from some of the images that follow. Good to see school parties there too, with youngish children plainly enjoying the experience, and maybe catching the gardening bug early.
Good visit …….
