“Catzero” was moored inside the marina and so offered an excellent view of the sheer complexity of a modern racing yacht. This seemingly crazy maze of rope is purposive and functional, but wouldn’t you need a crew who knew what they were about!
She is actually a 72’ “Round the World” racing machine and so capable of major passage making. The brilliant thing is she seems to be part of a programme for work with young people “fostering independence, trust, confidence and sustainability in an alternative learning environment conductive to young people’s needs.” Google Catzero and check out their website – well worth a look!
